Studio Allston Hotel
Mr. Brown partnered with The Davis Companies on the renovation of the Days Hotel Boston located right across the street from the Charles River into an art inspired hotel, Studio Allston Hotel! The team converted the 1960s vintage building into colorful boutique hotel.
Working alongside the creative advisory firm Isenberg Projects and the branding firm Proportion Design, the team selected 12 artists to create original murals to adorn each room. Guests are immediately immersed in art from the moment they walk through the lobby.
The hotel’s inspiration draws from the history of its location in the Allston neighborhood which is named after the painter Washington Allston who pioneered the American Romantic movement of landscape painting. The surrounding area is bustling with creative spirit and is conveniently located near Harvard University.
The Studio Allston Hotel is home to the restaurant Casa Caña, a Latin kitchen, patio, and rum bar featuring innovative Latin cuisine. Guests enjoy this celebration of Latin culture through food, drink, and music. The outdoor patio provides a Caribbean escape allowing guests to sit by the fire or dance under the lights.
Spot On Ventures continues to serve as the asset manager to the property.
